Perioperative Mortality Review Committee

In this sixth report, the Perioperative Mortality Review Committee has examined perioperative mortality in New Zealand during 2010–2014 for two new areas of interest:

• the relationship between socioeconomic deprivation (poverty) and mortality after surgery
• 30-day mortality following abdominal aortic aneurysm repair.
