Perioperative Mortality in New Zealand: Fourth report of the Perioperative Mortality Review Committee presents the findings on the epidemiology of perioperative mortality for 2008–12 in five new clinically important areas. In addition to presenting perioperative mortality in these areas, the report extends analyses from clinical areas included in previous reports to cover the time period for 2008–12.
